This
is one that I'll bet even the locals do not know
about! We came across this lovely little cafe on a cold wet bank holiday
Sunday. Having just climbed out of Ullswater (tough on a tandem) we
had just about given up hope of finding any cafes on our
route, but on this occasion the god's were smiling on us. Piping hot
soup with home made bread, followed by a nice pot of tea. |
This is an outdoor cafe only, so don't expect any log fires! Open Saturday Sunday, Monday only. P.S. According to Annie (the owner), the sun actually does come out every now and then! |
